Game confusing Dualsense controller for Xbox controller on PC.

I’m not sure if this is user error or caused by an update but I’m playing the game through steam and my steam controller configuration is recognizing that I’m using a Dualsense controller while the game (which was previously working fine before the update) now think I’m using a Xbox controller. 

My controller is wired through USB connection and I’m not sure what to do here.
