Game crashes; particularly crashing to desktop no error message

Here is my experience so far:
Same results with both RTX 5080 and 9070 XT at 4K, high or ultra preset. DLSS/FSR enabled, performance preset.

Here were my experiences with various configurations:

stable = 7700X, 4 x 16GB of DDR5 RAM, EXPO disabled (currently running)
unstable = 7700X, 4 x 16GB of DDR5 RAM, EXPO enabled (this was stable, but unstable now I think because of a recent motherboard BIOS update)
Did not test 7700X, 2 x 16GB. Assumed this would be stable based on above results.

(very) unstable = 7800X3D, 4 x 16GB of DDR5 RAM, EXPO enabled or disabled
stable = 7800X3D, 2 x 16 GB DDR5 RAM, EXPO enabled or disabled

There could be other issues that might cause instability such as bad drives, OS related issues, drivers, etc. but the above assumes all hardware is "good" but may not be 100 % stable if used in certain combinations.
