Game crashing PC every 5-10 minutes
Was able to play for a couple of days with no issue. For the last 4 days haven't been able to play more than 10 minutes. Crashes usually 5 minutes on the dot almost every time now. Screen goes black and PC shuts down and have to hard restart PC.
This is only happening on BF6. Haven't had this issue on any other game. Even played BF2042 off and on the last month to for the road to BF6 pass and never had a crash.
Things I've tried:
- Updated GPU drivers
- Updated BIOS
- Adjusted in game settings. Lowered graphics to lowest setting, tried with V Sync on or off.
- Repaired game
- Uninstalled/reinstalled
- Disabled Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling in Windows.
- Unplugged 2nd monitor
- Tried different power outlet
PC Specs:
- AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core processor
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
I'm seeing posts also experiencing this issue even with far better setups than mine. Some had success after updating the BIOS but that didn't fix the issue for me. Not sure if there's really any solution that can be done or if this is something that needs to be patched by developers.
Right after launch I dealt with an issue where EA bricked my main account from a duplicate user ID error from my profile name in Steam and couldn't even access the game. Was able to use another email and play for a couple days then this crashing issue started. Very frustrating after all these issues.
Anyone else experiencing a similar crashing issue and found any solutions?
