Game Text Chat no longer works for me

Had all settings perfect and the game text chat would pop up when active and also had text to speech on, which was awesome. I noticed last week that it had been pretty quiet, and then found out yesterday that it it's because it no longer works at all. My squad kept referring to what people were saying in text chat but when I opened it, nothing was in there. I would send a message but they say nothing has appeared. It shows my message in there but I'm not getting anyone else's.

I've reset the game, reset console, checked settings, toggled chat on and off, privated and unprivated my profile, reset settings to default, also checked for bans and I've found nothing. It doesn't work in game, in lobby with friends, in pre lobby.
