Gun will randomly continuously fire and won’t stop

Weird bug. It will be fine at the start but then just fire non stop without stopping. Once it starts nothing will fix it. Unplugged controller and it still fires then reloads and fires again so not my controller. Tried deleting settings in settings file and change in game inputs one at a time but doesn’t matter. Unplayable atm.

I found the issue. so I use a Asus Azoth keyboard with Asus Armoury crate software. I noticed the lagging was happening outside of the game as well. uninstalled Armoury crate and it fixed my problem. Im guessing you both have armoury crate as well. it seems that the program uses a lot of resources and causes your keyboard to lag.

It's an RGB controller software for ASUS ROG and TUF products (similar to Corsair iCue), but it has live wallpaper and AI components that can be installed along with it. This was the problem some of us were running using the software while playing Battlefield 6. Could be a separate issue that you can look into outside of Armoury Crate.

my fix for the nintendo switch input has now reverted itself and now im back to the random auto-fire issue :/

Having the same issue. Game is fine for the first 5-10 and then my gun just wont stop firing and zooming in seems broke too. Tried other controllers, persists after a reset. M&K is fine, but always with a controller. And no, I don't have amoury crate.

So another fix I found is. If you’re using a PlayStation controller. In steam there’s an option to turn on support for your controller w/o controller support for that game. This also helped me when selecting it to change the inputs from Xbox to ps and also stop the auto firing
