A framerate below 60fps is causing time nudge to spike. Battlefield is designed to run with a framerate of 60fps or higher.
Battlefield 6 is designed to run at 60fps or higher. If the fps drops below 60 then time nudge (TN) will spike up high.
The next step is figuring out what's causing the CPU to max out.
If the CPU is above recommended system requirements but still has CPU cores hitting 100% usage.
Then possible reasons include:
Monitor CPU frequency in Windows Task Manager to see if it downclocks. For example going from 4GHz down to 3Ghz.
Download HWiNFO to see if the CPU or VRM is overheating and causing the CPU frequency to downclock.
The CPU shouldn't be above 80°C and the VRM shouldn't be above 90°C.
Download CPU-Z to see if RAM memory is in dual channel or single channel mode. Dual channel has more performance.
i know my cpu isn't perfect but in one screenshot my framerate being lower definitely isn't the ultimate cause of this, i've played about two entire days on community servers now and the time nudge happening there is incredibly minimal and it isn't constant, im talking about constant & extremely high time nudge when on official servers, ultimately that's my main issue, it is unplayable bad, not "oh my TN spiked a little bit cause my framerates dropped" bad
please stop spreading this and making people believe it’s their CPU…
majesticalwookie thank you for the feedback. I added EXPO/XMP not being enabled in motherboard BIOS as another possible reason for poor CPU performance.
