The 3 stacked rectangles in the top left corner of NutCrackNutThrow screenshot means the framerate is dropping below 60fps. If the framerate drops below 60fps there will be network lag because the game is designed to run at 60fps or higher.
Some of the CPU cores might be maxing out at 100% usage. To check if there are any CPU cores hitting 100% usage, open the Windows Task Manager CPU graph.
- Run the game in windowed mode (alt + enter)
- Open Task Manager (alt + ctrl + del)
- Open the Performance tab, then right-click on the CPU graph and choose "Change graph to > Logical processors".
- Set Task Manager to 'always on top' by clicking option
Now you can play the game and monitor per core CPU usage. If any CPU core hits 100% usage the game will stutter and cause network lag.
I have the same problem as OP: massive rubberbanding, movement like walking through honey especially in 32vs32 matches No chance to win any fight. 8vs8 matches, f.e. TDM works fine, even with <60 FPS. Ping is always 1-digit. The yellow FPS symbol shows up constantly, but sometimes the packet loss symbol, too.
Checked with lower settings (like really potato-settings), played with >60fps and got the same problems as well. All issues on large maps aren't at game start, they tend to show up after 1-2 minutes after match start. Monitored CPU-usage and it is indeed 99-100% in Conquest 32vs32 (AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8 core), CPU-usage in TDM 8vs is is 88-95%
Play the open Beta, didh't have these issues.
Question is, what can I do? (without buying an new CPU/System)
