Inconsistent Hit Registration Issue - Stable Connection and Low Ping
Hello,
I'm experiencing a persistent problem with hit registration in Battlefield 6 (I hope that this will fixed on Season 3 but no). Despite having a stable fiber internet connection with consistent ping and low latency, I'm experiencing intermittent issues where bullets don't register on enemies, even when they appear to be direct hits on my screen.
Details:
- Internet: Fiber connection in Florida, stable speed and ping (verified with network tests)
- Problem: Inconsistent hit registration - some matches work fine, others where bullets don't register at all
- GPN: Using a gaming-focused GPN solely to reduce ping and jitter, not to bypass restrictions
- Servers: The issue occurs across different servers
Key Issue: During combat encounters, I'm noticing the ping indicator box appears in-game showing ping spikes when I'm being shot at. My bullets frequently don't register despite appearing to be direct hits on my screen, while opponents' shots seem to register instantly. This creates a significant disadvantage.
The problem is clearly not on my end since:
- My internet speed and latency are stable and tested outside gameplay
- The issue is intermittent and coincides with combat situations
- I only use GPN to optimize ping and reduce jitter
- My connection remains stable between encounters
I suspect this could be:
- Server-side synchronization/lag compensation issues
- Packet loss during specific combat scenarios
- A problem specific to my account or regional servers (Florida area)
Could you please review:
- My account's server assignments and network health
- Whether there are known issues with hit registration on Florida/Southeast US servers
- My connection logs during gameplay to identify packet loss or latency spikes during combat
- If there's a lag compensation issue affecting my hit registration
This is significantly affecting my gameplay experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
