Input lag/slow motion controls with NVIDIA frame generation

Usually, without frame generation I get around 40–70 FPS, so I play with frame generation enabled. Now, however, I constantly experience huge input lag that makes the game unplayable. I had the same issue at the game’s release, but after experimenting with the settings, I managed to eliminate the input lag and the gameplay felt smooth again. Also, there are icons that constantly appear at the top left of the screen — I have no idea what they mean. They’ve been there since release, but I started seeing them much less often once I fixed the input lag. Now they appear almost all the time, and whenever they do, the problems come back too. I set the FPS limit to 90, and it never drops below that. Even with frame generation turned off, the icons didn’t go away.
