Issues joining servers with a group.

I haven't seen this posted anywhere so I dont know if its just us but my son and I play together.

We get into a group and join a queue. Every time only one of us joins and the other gets stuck in limbo. That person then has to back out and go into the friends list and join the queue from there. Sometimes the queue holds and sometimes it drops out and you have to rejoin the queue again. Eventually the other person gets in the game .

After the match end and it loads up for the next match, one of us fails to join and has to back out and go to the friends list and join from there.

Im not sure if this has something to do with the fact that we are both connecting from the same IP or if it's something with the way the matchmaker loads a group into a server.

I figured I'd put this here in case someone else has run into the same thing.

Update: Using a VPN on one of the PCs seems to have fixed this issue. I still have more testing to do but I went from only 1 person on the LAN being able to connect when in a group to both being able to connect 100% of the time.

have the same issue on pc. every time my fiancée and i join a lobby together, it only pulls one of us into a game, and the other gets stuck at the lobby screen. both pcs are wired to our router.

Yeah I'm experiencing the same thing. Cant join games when in a squad though the rest of my squad loads in. I've tried swapping who the squad leader is, this still gets me stuck in the main menu. I'm not sure how to resolve this currently.

Edit: Having your squad join a game and then joining them through steam seems to work. Only downside is the match will probably be full and you have to sit out the first 5 minutes of the match and hope someone leaves the game.

Glad to see its not just us, meaning its something that will probably get hotfixed relatively soon.

Same issue here but i’m not playing from the same IP as my friends and i play on a brand new very high end pc whilst they play on PS5. They always load into the game immediately and i’m stuck on the loading screen of the map for 5-10 minutes almost every other game. I know it’s not my computer because it runs every other demanding game i play very well. By the time i do load into the game it’s already halfway over most of the time and it’s very frustrating. None of my other friends have this issue it seems to only be me.
