Javelin Anti Cheat

EA and Dice, are there any plans to implement Battlefield 6 compatibility for Linux OS users in the future?

I’ve been a long time fan of Battlefield and know myself alongside many others on Linux would love to jump in on the action.  And with the Steam Machine coming in the near future, it would surely result in more sales from people jumping into PC gaming for the first time.

Please at least consider it!

  • I wouldn't bother it doesnt work. Servers are rife with cheats, and always at this time of day (getting in from work). Its awful. One of the favourites is the one where they uncannily know exactly where you are, sliding in and shooting you perfectly. Sliding should be taken out as well.
There are over 300 sites which offer hacks this being one:  https://battlelog.co/battlefield-6-hacks-cheats-aimbot-esp-radar/

There really is nothing any anti cheat can do. Only in-server moderators will work. Unfortunately EA dont care at all, they are still earning massive cash from it due to addiction to the game.

The smartest option is not to play.

Yeah doesn’t hurt to ask I guess. Anti Cheat can’t prevent everything from getting through which is why I don’t get leaving the Linux community out. From what I understand it’s an issue with with the way the anti cheat software is designed but on the PC side of the house it is incompatible with anything that isn’t windows.
