Keyboard delay issues

I play battlefield on the pc and i keep getting input delay issues for my keyboard. sometimes i will randomly be walking in any direction sometimes i will have over a second delay from when i touch my keys and its very frustrating. all games i play have never had these issues I've tried updating all software and went through my settings and i can fix it. please help
