Low CPU framerate causing extreme lag in matchmaking servers

Is my CPU just too old? I'm running an Intel i7-7700, which is above the minimum specs in the BF6 store page, and yet even after upgrading my GPU to an NVIDIA 3050 with 8G of VRAM, I'm still getting...

yeah bro. i was unable to run 2142 well so I didn't play that one. just picked up a new pc black friday so might try that out too for the hell of it one day. 7700 is good for bfv though.
