M417 A2 Barrel Change
Hello EA, I am a Battlefield 6 player who has been with this game since launch. The M417 A2 is a carbine is this game that has become my favorite gun in any video game ever. The two reasons why I love it so much are because of the 3 shot kill and it's look. I love its compact barrel. Since the launch of season 2, you guys added an update to extend the barrel of the M417 A2. If I'm being honest I absolutely hate this and I think it is the worst update you guys have added to the game. The weapons new look is stupid and doesnt feel right. When playing a game the function of a gun is important, but looks matter too. If you look good when playing you'll feel good and if you feel good you'll play good. I have been a loyal Battlefield in EA player since I was a little kid and I've supported everything you guys have done and I really don't want to have to leave this game. But this update is dissapointing. I now barely use this weapon. I am also in a Discord server with about 10,000 people who also love this gun to death but don't use anymore because of this new update. I was hoping it was a temporary issue until with the Nightfall update you made an official thing. I have 4 ways you can fix this gun. And if I were you I would heavily consider doing one of these if you want to save this gun from being ruined. Number 1, just completely scrap this update and return each of the barrels to their previous looks. Number 2, just completely remove the short barrel as an option and instead add either a heavy barrel or an extended barrel. Number 3, make it where when you use m417's short barrel, it will literally shorten the length of the handguard like shown on the mini Scout. Number 4, make it so that the short barrel has the design that the basic barrel had during launch and season 1, with that beautiful compact design so that players will still have the design they know and love. Please EA, for the start of season 3 or for a future update please do something to this gun so it can still have the original design. Out of all the games I play that you guys made, such as Madden Battlefront every Battlefield, I think this is the best gun you guys have ever made and you're ruining it. So please consider my ideas. Me and 10,000 people, probably even more, are all counting on it. Thank you, have a great day.
