Massive Thermal Regression on Mid-Range Laptops since Season 2/3

I am initiating this discussion to see if other laptop users are experiencing the same severe thermal issues since the recent Season 3 update.

The Hardware:

CPU: Intel i5-12500H

GPU: RTX 4060 Laptop GPU

The Regression Data:

I’ve been tracking my thermals since launch, and the optimization has taken a massive hit on laptop hardware:

Season 1: Solid 75°C average on HIGH settings.

Season 2: Spiked to 92°C even after dropping settings to LOW.

Season 3 (Current): Sustained 94°C+ with constant thermal throttling and FPS drops.

Discussion Points:

Inefficient Resource Draw: Lowering settings should theoretically reduce heat, but the current engine build seems to be over-volting or mismanaging CPU draw on 12th/13th gen Intel mobile chips.

Lack of Mobile Optimization: Is the dev team aware that mid-range mobile hardware is hitting T-junction limits in menus and low-intensity scenes?

Has anyone found a workaround (undervolting, power limiting)? It’s disappointing that hardware that ran the game perfectly in S1 is now hitting dangerous limits.
