Microtearing

kamaleont_007​ please explain what microtearing is a little more. Is it more similar to Vsync off screen tearing or screen stutter?

It's not stuttering, it's more like a frame rate synchronization issue. Vsync is disabled in my settings because gsync is enabled. And any settings, game, Windows, or anything else, no fix it. I read the consoles don't have this problem

I have a similar system 9950x3d with RTX4090, I did have the same problem.

However  I solved the problem for the most, by locking my  at 125 with the game fps limiter, with my 144hz screen. G sync is not working properly in this game for me,without doing this.It's crazy but it works for me

Just lock your fps at about 10 or 20  fps(play with it until the motion is smooth )below the  refresh rate of the monitor try it.

Are you using mouse? Its the problem all of us have and DICE isnt doing anything.

kamaleont_007​ I watched the video and it looks like the mouse stutter bug. This is a game engine bug with mouse polling and will require the Battlefield developers to fix the game engine.

If you play the game with an Xbox controller everything will be smooth.

Also when using the  9950x3d for gaming the most, try disable SMT in bios.

Game runs better without this off.

Also check if the cores are parked corectly with the game and windows uses the 3dx cache cores

I repeat, with any setting I find the defect but by limiting the fps to 170 maximum the defect disappears almost completely. I hope that in a few hours with season 1 the issue will be resolved otherwise I'll wait for season 2😀.

the patch did not fixed it for me at least. But great it is almost gone with capping the fps😁 ,I have the same
