Middle East / Saudi Arabia Servers Have Been Unplayable for Two Months

For the past two months, players in the Middle East, especially in Saudi Arabia, have been dealing with an unacceptable server situation.

 

Since the reported issues with the Bahrain/Dubai servers during the past couple of months, the game has become almost unplayable for many of us. We are constantly being routed to European servers instead of nearby Middle East servers. This means we are forced to play against players with 10–15 ping while we are stuck with 80+ ping, sometimes even higher, with constant packet loss.

 

Personally, the lowest ping I have seen is around 87, and even that comes with packet loss. This is not a normal online experience. This is not competitive. This is not fair. It is simply not playable.

 

The frustrating part is that this is not caused by our internet connection. This is a server/routing issue from the game side. Many players from Saudi Arabia and the region are complaining about the exact same thing, yet we have not received a clear explanation, a timeline, or any serious communication about what is happening.

 

We paid for this game and its content expecting to be able to play it properly. But for almost two months, the experience has been broken for our region. At this point, I genuinely want to ask: are players in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East eligible for refunds because we have been unable to properly play the game due to server issues that are completely outside our control?

 

This is not our fault as players. We did not choose to be routed to faraway servers. We did not cause the packet loss. We did not disable the regional servers. Yet we are the ones paying the price every day when we try to play.

 

We need a clear answer from EA or the responsible team:

 

Are the Bahrain/Dubai or Middle East servers down or disabled?

 

Why are Saudi/Middle East players being routed to Europe?

 

Is there any active work being done to fix this?

 

When can we expect normal playable servers again?

 

If this cannot be fixed soon, what are our options regarding refunds?

 

We are tired of being ignored. The game is currently unplayable for many players in this region, and we need this issue to be acknowledged and escalated properly.
