Here you go guys:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced that repairs to its damaged data center infrastructure in Bahrain and the UAE will take several months to complete.
Following reported drone strikes in March and April 2026, which caused physical damage to facilities, AWS has indicated the following:
- Extended Outage: The ME-SOUTH-1 region (Bahrain) is unable to support customer applications.
- Repair Timeline: Full restoration is expected to take months, not days, due to the extent of the damage.
- Billing Suspended: AWS has suspended billing for the affected regions.
- Action for Customers: AWS is strongly advising customers to use their disaster recovery plans and migrate workloads to other global regions.
As of late April/early May 2026, the data centers remain heavily disrupted.
- So unless they move to another provider we won't be playing season 3 or 4
