Mouse 4 and mouse 5 keybinds are unable to be mapped, glitched

I'm dealing with the same problem. Its driving me crazy. Can't figure it out

I have a similar problem...on mouse, by default M4 and M5 were mapped to Gadget1 and Gadget2.  I unbound the, by holding ESC down for a few seconds, but M4 is still registering as Gadget1.  Its like its not reading the keybinds for M4

this is so basic why is this a thing still? fix it please.

Same, here I can't change my 4 and 5 mouse keys so I can't use reload and melee on my mouse. It's quite annoying 

Edit: A workaround I’ve had to do is remapping my entire mouse just for the game and assigning the mouse buttons to keyboard keys. If your mice have this function, it’s the literal only way to use M4 and M5 right now. The downside is that you likely have to manually reset your buttons for any function outside of the game once you’re done.

I am also having this problem. Hopefully the devs see this and patch it.

I'm having problems programing my 17 button mouse. Look up, look down, look right and look left takes priority. I'm trying to  add crouch and prone to my 4 and 5 buttons.

I think this got patched on the last update … not getting the problem anymore 

I found that mouse 4 and 5 can only be bound in the right slot of the key bindings, for whatever reason it doesnt work in the left side

Have Razer Naga Trinity and use the 7 button circle. I can map keyboards to the mouse but if I click any of the buttons it stops me from running. Also very slow input. Also every time I map something it says it's already mapped but can't figure out where. Would rather erase everything and do all custom. Feels like they are emulating a controller with the mouse.
