Multiplayer in BF6 cuts back to main screen as soon as matchmaking occurs.

The only way we know right now is using a VPN service, lets hope the devs work on a fix quick since you lose connection stability when using a VPN, for consoles To set up a VPN-enabled router, log into your router's admin panel and configure the VPN settings provided by your VPN provider.

Here is a video of the problem, and the creator of the video fixing the problem. (Pc)

  • 3 possible reasons come to mind.

    • home router issue.
    • ISP issue.
    • Windows firewall issue.

The home router issue can be ruled out by connecting the PC directly to the internet modem. Then reboot the internet modem to assign a new IP address.

While directly connected to the cable modem type 'ipconfig' into Windows command prompt and write down your IPv4 address. You can use this to check if your ISP uses carrier grade network address translation (CGNAT). If the IP address starts with 100. Then your ISP uses (CGNAT) and is blocking incoming connections from reaching you.

If you still can't connect then it's either an ISP or Windows firewall issue.

  • I had this problem in Battlefield 2042, and I solved it by checking all the boxes for it in Windows Firewall.
