No weapon reload sound

I have an issue where certain weapons (pretty much all except the handguns) do not have a reload sound or the sound is delayed/distorted. I have tried multiple methods to fix this including adjusting all of my audio settings, reinstalling drivers, etc. Nothing seems to fix it. The issue is worse when I increase the graphics quality settings. It is slightly better (meaning I will sometimes hear full reload sounds) when I set all of my graphics settings to low. I have also tried repairing game files and restarting, which also doesn't help. Seems like I am one of the only ones having this issue.
