VikingHoarder I should also mention that you should buy memory that's listed in the motherboard's qualified vendors list (QVL).
The motherboard should have the manufacturer and model number printed on it. With that information we can go to the motherboard manufacturer's website and lookup the memory QVL list.
Buying memory that's on the QVL list ensures maximum compatibility because the motherboard manufacturer has tested and tuned all the memory on the QVL list for that motherboard.
This ensures maximum memory performance and prevents crash errors such as 'GPU removed' and blue screen of death from occuring.

VikingHoarder if a memory upgrade isn't possible. Go into BF6 advanced graphics settings and limit the framerate to 30fps. This should prevent network lag.

tyvm for your help. i'm not sure an upgrade is possible right now, but at least i'm not pulling my hair out trying to figure things out
