PC Shuts down when I launch/play game

My whole PC will shut down when I play this game.

Either 1 minute after launching or if I manage to get into a game if could be 2 minutes in or 5 minutes in.

Checked Event Viewer and nothing obvious. Verified game files on Steam and all good.

I'm actively watching temperatures and nothing goes up into the abnormals. Updated graphics drivers. I have the graphics set to Low and FPS capped to 180.

Absolutely no issues with any other games, no performance issues, no random shutting down elsewhere.

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X

32gb RAM

NVIDIA GeForce RTX3080 (10gb)

    MollieYAY​ PC shutting down in the middle of a game is usually a hardware stability issue.

    Try these steps one at a time so you know which one fixes the hardware crashes.

    1. Update the motherboard BIOS firmware to the latest version.

    2. Disable XMP/EXPO memory overclocking in motherboard BIOS.

    3. Downclock GPU core and VRAM frequency by 200MHz.

    4. Disable both PBO & CPB in motherboard BIOS if you have an AMD CPU.

    If PC is still shutting down and crashing I'd check for memory errors with HCI MemTest.
