Poor Netcode Hit Registration Major Gameplay Issues

I’d like to highlight a technical issue that’s seriously affecting the gameplay experience in Battlefield 6. The netcode and hit registration feel inconsistent and unreliable under certain conditions.
I’ve noticed that hit detection and server synchronization fluctuate heavily, especially when moving across the map. When you stay in one position, shots seem to register fine. But as soon as you start moving or enter new areas, gunfights become inconsistent  even when you clearly land the first hits on your screen.
This behavior suggests potential problems with the server tick rate, client synchronization, or lag compensation system. It feels like the server handles stationary players more accurately than moving ones, which shouldn’t happen in a modern FPS.
I can rule out my own connection as the cause (stable fiber internet, low ping, zero packet loss). This points to a server-side or engine-level issue rather than a local one.

It’s a shame, because the game itself has great potential — but the inconsistent hit registration really kills the fun. I’m honestly surprised there isn’t more discussion about these server or synchronization problems.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues, or found any technical explanation for this behavior?

  • Im constantly having ping issues, packet loss issues, there is almost always atleast one network icon showing in either yellow or red on both of those in game.Tons of people are reporting the same and ea doesnt respond at all to this.I can imagine many want a refund because of this so its strange they dont adress it.

  • Die around corners, people "appear" that werent there a second ago...  During the day or weekends I NEVER win a firefight, yet if I play really late at night all of a sudden im super soldier. I fire first and die first and I use SMG 900 BPM and just always die. Always. My screen shows me put 5+ into center mass and I just lose.. Everytime. Its not fun at all. Im just about done because the only thing I can reliably do is support and just rez peep since I literally CANNOT kill anything. This game is just no fun unless I stay up to 2am

1 million percent agree, but its from game to game with me, one game its amazing hit Reg is good next game a full clip frfom and LMG and the person jogs away like i have tickled them with a feather.

I'm based in UK 1.6gbps connection hard wire with a decent router, but i keep getting put in matches hosted in germany, where my ping in game is shoowing as 20-25ms ( i dont belive that)  but if the game is hosted out of germany any german / eastern european playing have a massive advantage. the game becomes impossible to play
