PS5 - Mouse and Keyboard Jittery Mouse Movement

Mouse and keyboard worked perfectly in the beta. Now in the full game, whenever I move the mouse to fast, e.g. to quickly turn around or look 90 degrees to a direction, the mouse jitters and moves in the opposite direction. This makes the game practically unplayable like this.

Here is a video capture showing what I mean (also attached):

Where it looks like I am quickly moving the mouser right and left, this is just me moving the mouse to one direction. I tried enabling and disabling "raw mouse input" and played around with the settings, but nothing is helping.

Any ideas if this is a bug or some setting from my side?

If you have not done yet i would suggest to try the following (if possible). Reduce your mouse polling rate.  I play on xbox and when i used my Razer Viper 8K mouse on 1000HZ,  i experienced micro lags and jitters. This is because Xbox (and i think PS5 as well) is not able to handle higher than 125HZ polling rate through USB regardless of wired or wireless device. Based on the communication with Xbox support they said that console ignores the needless signals and uses only 125HZ however the higher polling rate can cause issues in the movements.
If your mouse have an app or software where the polling rate can be changed then it is worth giving a trial to change it to 125hz

One more thing. Do not turn off the Raw Mouse input because that makes more inconsistent movements.

KPKazi84 another thing to try is plugging the Razer Viper 8k into an external usb 2.0 hub, and then plugging the usb hub into the Xbox.

This will trick the Xbox into thinking you have a 1,000Hz mouse instead of a 8,000Hz mouse.

Setting the mouse polling rate to 1,000Hz isn't enough. The usb 2.0 hub is needed to downclock everything to 1,000Hz.

USB 2.0 hubs can't poll faster than 1,000Hz. So they limits everything to that speed.

So if I understand correctly, Xbox doesn’t “force” the polling rate down from 1000Hz to 125Hz when using a USB hub. However, games can still behave as if they’re only receiving 125Hz if they’re unable to process the faster input rate, which can still cause micro lag. Ultimately, the frequency at which the Xbox communicates with the device is determined by the device’s own firmware or driver.

Apart from that i will try it thanks .

KPKazi84 basically what I'm trying to say is the 8,000Hz Razer mouse you have thinks it's being plugged into a 8,000Hz usb 3.0 port on the Xbox. So the mouse configures itself for 8,000Hz.

What the mouse doesn't know is that the Xbox console is limiting the polling rate to 1,000Hz. Which causes the micro lag and jitter you mentioned.

Plugging the mouse into a usb 2.0 hub makes the mouse realize it's plugged into a 1,000Hz device. So the mouse configures itself for 1,000Hz. Which matches the Xbox polling rate and gets rid of the micro lag and stutter.

I have the same Razer Viper 8k mouse as you. I love it! The best mouse I've ever owned. Very smooth and low jitter.

Thank you.  if it is real and we can believe ConsoleTuner then Xbox can receive the 1000Hz polling rate like USB Maximum.
I also asked Xbox support about it they claim the Series X is only able to cope with 125HZ through usb ..  however the assistant might have just asked the Copilot :D
