PSA: Mouse Input is broken in this game (looks similar to bad frame timing)

Mouse input is broken, which ruins an otherwise well optimised game. This looks to be getting confused with poor frame timing in a lot of threads, but controller input is unaffected. For reference...

It's so weird...setting my game to 125fps turns it into a hitching stutterfest. Doesn't even mask the situation for my system. Even the cant believe it's not buttery smooth, close as butter my previous results were it still books out after the first match or two.
