That message appears to relate to a ban, I'm afraid. If that is the case, you'll need to try appealing to EA's Terms of Service team, as they're the only people who can potentially revoke a ban. If you wanted to try, the guide below should explain the process and a webform to begin the appeal. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code in the message you're receiving.

Well I checked my penalty history and it was fine. I still didn't receive a reply from ea support. I don’t know what's wrong as that's my main ea account. I played 2042, bfv,bf1 before without any issues. Now bf6 causing me issues. Here's the penalty history screenshot.

I'm getting the same message and didn't even get to play the game, ea support says my account is fine, no bans. It's obviously an issue with the game that needs fixed.

This is not the answer to this issue, it’s not a BAN it’s an error on their side. Just got off support and it’s not a me issue.

This is inaccurate as its an issue within the game. It has nothing to do with the account as other systems besides PC work.

Is this a chatbot account? You keep saying to appeal the ban but if you read every single post, non have penalties and all are able to play on a console and not the pc.

djcalanco No. I am a player who volunteers here on the forum. Unfortunately, the only process to follow for bans is to contact the ToS team. If you are unable to do that yourself, then you can contact EA Help, and they can initiate the appeal for you.

I have never played bf6 on ea app and as soon as I downloaded RedSec and tried to launch I was meet with this same error. I then downloaded the steam app and that plays it just fine. P.S. just checked and I have no violations on my account but still have this problem

It is not a ban.. I have it too. I play it on PS5 fine and have the full version of BF6. But trying to play RedSec on the Laptop worked once but now it says my Account is Restricted too. I'm not banned. I spoke to EA and they said they were aware of it and sent me here where you guys are all having a similiar issue.

Can you stop marking all the restricted account posts as solved? you obviously don’t know what you’re talking about when support themselves are saying that this is not a ban & it’s an issue they are aware of. Do a better job man, geez

I have an Xbox. Did the same thing because my name is not the same on my xbox as it is my ea. I also do not know why i cannot add my "TQ x" to the front of my name because it "isnt allowed" so I cant fix mine but match your ea name to your ps name and it might resolve it?

I barely have any Play Time on PC and I'm still getting this error I'm also downloading red sec and have an account on PS5 that is completely fine.
