Rendezook Accolade Not Counted Because of Game Desync

After about a month straight of trying to get the rendezook and so many other stupid issues I finally managed to pull it off only for the game to desync me away from the cockpit even though I held enter on it and then it acted as if I had touched the jet and did not award the accolade. I honestly don't know what to do anymore because I have attempted this so many times only to be demoralized every single time a bug or something dumb happens cancelling out the dogtag. If there is ANYTHING that can be done, I would be so grateful because this has been the bane of my existence.
