*requires multiplayer privileges*

I spoke to an ea tech earlier about this. If you havnt tried uninstalling and reinstalling and unplugging your Xbox for 5 minutes try that. If that doesnt work and you still have the message after that ea doesnt have a fix for it yet. I was told to patiently wait for the fix. Lol

Uninstall and reinstall the whole game? Geez…

gold membership is fine as I can play other online games. 
do I need an active gamepass membership? 

Have not tried the link yet as I am just seeing this but Xbox live membership is fine. I can play other online games. Will give the link a shot this evening. 

jackaturner0 it seems as though Microsoft has done away with Xbox live gold memberships and changed the name to gamepass. I just checked my bank account and noticed that I havnt been paying for Xbox live and I canceled a gamepass subscription back in May. Thinking why do I have a gamepass? I dont remember doing that, I already have a gold membership. So I canceled it. I also havnt played a multiplayer game since I have canceled. Although the games that I have played require connecting to their servers which I thought was done through the gold membership. Anyway, once I renewed the gamepass the multiplayer modes unlocked for me. Check your bank statement and make sure that you do in fact have a gold membership.

Xbox live is now called game pass check that you are active I just did and it expired a few months ago
