Something feels wrong with the FOV in Battlefield 6
I’ve played every Battlefield since BF3, always using a FOV above 110, and now in Battlefield 6 something feels definitely off.
Even with the FOV set to 105–110, soldiers are much harder to see, and it feels like the game is stretching or scaling the models incorrectly.
On top of that, when I increase the FOV, the whole game feels slower and less fluid, as if the engine struggles to render everything which never happened in previous titles.
To spot enemies properly, I actually need to lower the FOV below 100, which completely breaks the way I’ve always played Battlefield.
I’ve already checked my graphics settings, ADS FOV, motion blur, etc., but nothing seems to fix it.
Has anyone else noticed this inconsistency? Could it be a bug, an engine limitation, or maybe a vertical/horizontal FOV mismatch?
Any insight or workaround would be appreciated — it’s getting frustrating to play like this.
