Starting BF6 stops headphones working

Whenever i open bf6 it kills all audio from my headphones when using 2.4 mode on Steelseries arctis nova 5 wireless headphones, using bluetooth mode audio works again but isnt as good. I think its an issue with the anticheat severing the connection. Used to work but then stopped working sometime after winter offensive update.
