Error: 0:85009S, WHEN WILL THIS BE SOLVED??
Hi EA Technical Support,
I’m experiencing a consistent issue where I get kicked from Battlefield after approximately 5–6 minutes with error code 0:85009S after logging in.
This started after performing a clean reinstall of Windows, and the issue has persisted despite extensive troubleshooting. Before the reinstall, the game was working perfectly on the same hardware and network.
Here’s everything I have already tried:
- Clean Windows reinstall (full reset, fresh installation)
- Reinstalled Battlefield and EA App completely
- Reinstalled EA Anti-Cheat
- Updated GPU drivers to the latest version
- Enabled Secure Boot, TPM (PTT), and Virtualization
- Enabled Memory Integrity (Core Isolation)
- Tested with multiple networks (home WiFi, different WiFi, and mobile hotspot)
- Performed full network reset (flush DNS, winsock reset, IP reset)
- Disabled all background apps via clean boot
- Verified game files and cleared EA App cache
- No VPN, proxy, or overlays running
- System time and region correctly configured
Despite all of this, the issue still occurs consistently after a few minutes.
Given that:
- The issue started only after reinstalling Windows
- It occurs across different networks
- Multiple users are reporting the same error
It appears this may be related to EA Anti-Cheat or backend session validation, rather than a local system issue.
At this point, I have exhausted all client-side troubleshooting and would appreciate any guidance or confirmation if this is a known issue.
PLEASE HELP WE CANNOT PLAY THE GAME!!
