I can't connect to Battlefield 6. Every time I try, I get a connection error message with this code: Connection failed, error code: 1:86001S:66003S:4688822970:0B.
I've tried restarting the game and network, using a VPN, changing my EA account, DNS, ports, clearing my balance, and disconnecting USB ports. Although I haven't done anything since the game was released, the issue persists. Please provide me with instructions to resolve this issue.
- Close the game.
- If EA app is open, close it.
- Open EA app.
- Login to EA app.
- See MFA challenge.
- Click Send Code, check email.
- Once code received via email, complete login to EA app.
- Open BF6 game again.
- Profit
The problem is that if you have the game through Steam, you have to have an updated, current login session with BOTH services in order to play. Since anyone that has used MFA for more than a year should know, some organizations limit the amount of time an open session is allowed. So say, EA terminates the session every 30 days, and simply requires you to re-login, and re-authorize against the MFA challenge.
We should all be glad we're not trying to recover a STOLEN account - what this is meant to protect against!
