I am experiencing similar, as are many others. Mine says account_abuse, most others say competitive_advantage. Go to the EA help site, open your account, security and privacy, download your data. It will tell you the reason in there.
EA is not providing us with any answers, and is only telling us we get to stay banned. This also has happened for nearly everyone outside of refund windows. They have also disabled refunds in some cases, hidden live chat and email options...so much wrong going on with all of this.
This is class action level territory of not resolving the issues, giving information, and hiding methods of recourse.
They seriously need to get more people on this who are competent enough to actually investigate and not give copy and pasted responses and let us know what is going on, because I honestly believe a majority of these, and certainly my own, are ERRONEOUS BANS.
Might as well just be robbing us at this point...
EA, GET IT TOGETHER AND HELP US
My account isn't banned which was the only thing that support could confirm but I've also already pulled my data from the EA website and it simply says "Active" for everything. There's no instances of any kind of ban / abuse / advantage.
