There is a bug here that prevents users from reporting cheaters.

  1. I was killed by cheaters in Battle Royale. When using spectator mode, I couldn't press R to open the player details interface. I suspect this is because the cheat software has features to prevent reporting or viewing player information. This is because when I checked other players in the cheater's squad, the player details function worked normally. My squad members experienced the same issue. As a result, I was unable to report over five cheaters within two weeks.
  2. Chinese characters cannot be entered when searching for players. This is another issue that needs to be resolved.

  • That's definitely a cheater. It's cheating like this which made me decide to buy a PS5 and disable PC crossplay.

I find the whole reporting experience pretty bad. The UI needs to be improved and we should always have a post game opportunity as well to report, and we don't currently. Starcraft and older battlefields all have full game recordings too so that you can simply watch a game afterwards to check for events.

Game recordings should be 100% standard. The fact that EA refuse to give us this seems pretty dodgy to me, as if they don't want us to have any power to analyze games and check for hacking.

And we need to be able to vote out hackers. If EA refuse to allow this then they should be forced to employ server moderators to respond to votes. Could you imagine ANY sport where people were cheating, and you couldn't call out the cheater during or post game and you couldn't view recordings? It's a joke how these companies don't treat us the way sports players are treated - with respect and openness.
