Unable to Connect

So my PSN was linked to an EA account that then got deleted. Since then, ive tried to relink my PSN to the EA account I actuslly want to use, and while the EA support says it is linked, I cannot see it on my connections page, or in my linked services on PSN. It is also not allowing me to connect to BF6. It fails everytime. I have gone through every troubleshooting step, changing DNS, clearing caches, rebuilding databases, hard resetting my PS5 and router, and even deleting and reinstalling the game. Nothing had worked. EA support tells me that I should post here for answers and hopefully get it investigated. The research ive done tells me that my PSN ID is in a kind of limbo state between the deleted account and the account I want it linked to. Ive asked them to manually clear the platform ID so that it is available to be used again, but it just goes over their head and they seem to think its something I can fix on my end, but I am positive it needs to be fixed on EAs end. Whay do I need to do to resolve this? And has anyone else had this issue? If you have how did you get it fixed?
