After many hours of trial and error I finally found a fix! All I had to do was go to the NVIDIA app, go to graphics, battlefield 6, then turn OFF automatic display switching! Let me know if it worked for you!!!!

I don't have this setting in my NVIDIA app; where did you find it? Struggling with this issue as well...

I can confirm this works for me! at first i thought you meant the Nvidia app itself so i installed the Driver with the Nvidia app but the setting for automatic display switching is actually in the Nvidia Control Panel when i went to the program settings bf6 was using the global setting which was already set to off. I used "off" instead of "global setting" and i uninstalled the nvidia app and restarted now it works as normal im on the latest GPU drivers and im able to go full screen and see my resolution settings without crashing.
