unplayable due to speed loss.

I bought the game on release and enjoyed it for a couple of weeks, at which point, every time I started the game, after 1-2 minutes, i would be removed from the severs and have to re connect. A week or two after this, things escalated to dropped frames and severe lag to unplayable levels. My internet speeds dropped to ridiculous levels (normally 300-400 download, drops to as low as 16 when the game is running) I logged the issue with EA and got no response initially  so asked around with Friends and reddit for possible solutions, trying everything that was suggested, restarting the router, validating game files, uninstalling then re installing the game etc, this issue it lmited to my PC as I ran a speed test on my phone while the game was running there was no impact to its internet.

 I finally got inContact, with EA support who offered a couple of new solution, which I tried. Sadly these new options haven't worked either, so I went back EA support who informed me that they have logged to issue and due to the fact the in game team cant contact player directly, I should just keep an eye of the forums in case they mention the issue or a fix....

 At this point I asked for a full refund, as I would prefer to play the game but if it is unplayable for the foreseeable future, I would rather have my money back. The response to this was because I bought the game through steam, I have to request the refund from steam and sadly, because I have  more than 2 hours of game time, its unlikely I will receive a refund from steam.

As such, if anyone has any further potential fixes I would greatly appreciate it.
