View distance on foot in REDSEC Bug?

When I set the view distance on foot to 300 in the settings, it works perfectly fine in multiplayer modes.
However, in REDSEC, the setting doesn’t apply — it only starts working if I revert it mid-game to the default 160, then change it back to 300.

Has anyone else run into this issue? Is it a known bug?
I’ve tried everything I could think of to fix it, including uninstalling the game, verifying game file etc..

It’s honestly frustrating having to adjust it every time mid-match just to make it work, it should be persistent like in the multiplayer modes.
