3vatos Hey. I looked around a bit, and there are a few other reports of voice chat/mic issues, including cases where the mic still works fine in other games but not in Battlefield 6.
A couple of things worth checking first are Settings > Audio > Voice Chat to make sure voice chat is enabled, the correct input device is selected, and testing Open Mic instead of Push to Talk for a round. If you’re on PC, it may also help to check whether the game is picking up a different input than Windows is using, especially if you use a USB interface or a virtual audio setup. If you’re hearing distorted or weirdly positional comms rather than total silence, also check whether Voice Chat Position Mode is set to In-World and try Flat instead.
A couple of questions for you to check up on:
- Are you on PC, Xbox, or PlayStation?
- Is the issue that you can’t be heard, you can’t hear others, or both?
- Are you using Push to Talk or Open Mic right now?
- Does the problem happen in squad/party voice, match voice, or both?
- If you’re on PC, are you using a USB mic/interface, virtual mixer, or anything like Voicemeeter/Focusrite software?
- Have you run a repair on the game itself if on PC?
