VRAM leak?

Ive been on reddit and found that a lot of people and I  are experiencing a possible VRAM leak. I have a 4080 super and 7800x3d during the beta i used dlaa, maxed out settings on 1440p and had no issues whatsoever. It was buttery smooth. And now I'm noticing if i set my preset to overkill, on my first match it will be smooth and i will be at about 8.5-9gb of VRAM use. And i even stop and check it again when i am in chaos and it would still be good. By the next game when i check again I have exceeded my VRAM threshold resulting in a choppy experience of the game. Not sure what it is exactly but i know my system is definitely qualified the run the game as i am considering how smooth it was in beta. 

EA I love the game and will still play it but we would greatly appreciate a solution for whatever it is that is happening. Is anybody else experiencing this as well?
