Shutting down servers not even a year post-launch is disastrous. What's worse is there was no notice given ahead of time, someone in upper management just decided on a whim "Hey, let's shut down some regional servers even though we have paying customers in those regions, it will push the margins up in the short term".
EA needs to restore the servers, there's no debate in this. People paid for the game and now they're forced to play with high latency because local servers, which were working fine have now been shut down.
If HK servers were shut down, there are SEVERAL other regions that are next on the chopping block. This cannot happen.
AND WHO KNOWS MAYBE IF THE MATCHMAKER WORKED PROPERLY THERE WOULDN'T BE SO MUCH PLAYER COUNT FLUCTUATIONS, especially in lower pop regions where the matchmaker CONSTANTLY splits the player base apart. This was the exact same problem in 2042 but they repeated it in BF6. Server browser needed to arrive yesterday!
Needless to say, every month since launch, starting with the Portal XP and Bot backfill nerfs, I'm seeing less and less reason to continue supporting the Battlefield franchise.

Hi, we’re very sorry to hear that this issue has negatively affected your gameplay experience. We also understand that for players in HK, problems such as latency and frame drops caused by server issues are especially serious. We will continue to follow up on this issue. Thank you.

While I appreciate your prompt responses regarding the Hong Kong servers, they have unfortunately been completely unhelpful. This frustrating experience is leading me to consider requesting a refund.
