XBOX Series X - Crashing STILL after 19th Jan 2026 update - EA any danger?!

If factory resetting the console doesn't fix the crashing. Then Microsoft most likely sold you a defective console.

The only way to know for sure is to log into a different Xbox and see if BF6 crashes or not.

Don't bother trying to talk to Oskool. He seems to be on a weird crusade to lie to people that the game is stable in its current build, which it very clearly isn't.

Agreed.The fact that I can play any other title - all the modern warfare CODs, Gears5, Halo Inifinte etc etc - huge sandbox type levels on 4k standard settings - as you’d expect the console to do as that is what it’s sold as - but BF6 is just junk. 
excuses count for nothing. EA have clearly made their bed with pc gamers and steam and other such platforms are getting all the updates and fixes it seems.Back to COD it seems…

I’m so sick of this. Same thing has been happening to me since the beta. I want to live the game but find it seriously frustrating. These reboots seem to be happening more frequently. The only other game that now does this is this years Madden.

EA needs to get their act together.

If all my other games work fine, but battlefield constantly crashes how is it not the software?
