Tried all day to download the 1.1.1.5 update on xbox series x , nothing works
Reinstalled the game components from within the game system menu and Uninstalled the game from the xbox menu , no luck.
The game will not update to the latest patch.
version : 1.1.1.0 showing in the game system settings.
rebooted the xbox and unplugged for 30 min.
I am at a loss.
I'm getting the same behavior on my console. My PC version of the game updated without issue.
Does it simply refuses to install the update? Also i suppose you can sort of validate files on console to?
If so, after validating does it say anything about missing or corrupted files? Or does it seem to install fine, but then going in-game it display's the wrong version?
Have you tried joining online matches? (if you can connect and play multiplayer, then it must be a simple display bug in the menu).
The server-client would have a mismatch in versions, so you should not be able to join a match.
YinYangMartial My Xbox says there are no updates. My game version still says 1.1.1.0, BUT I can still play online for some reason. To my Xbox, it's running like the update was never released or wasn't detected as something that should be sent to my console. Just very odd.
I even deleted the whole game and reinstalled, same behavior.
game plays fine , just not getting the update. did a complete reinstall from within the game.
also deleted the game through the xbox file manager and reinstalled.
I just did a complete reset of my xbox and did a clean install of the game again , no update was pushed through. This has to be something linked to the EA account.
