About Future and Legacy [Letter to EA]
Hello, I do not think that somebody from EA can see it, but still.
I clearly understand that all corporations want money. It's normal. And every corporation wants service games, which can make money forever.
So, you already have everything! I mean a huge HUB with an awesome classic games, which already can be live service games for your fans. Plus, you can save these games.
- BF4 - Maybe need to update graphics and add maps from BF3. This game should work as a normal BF game.
- BF:HL - I do not know why the studio stopped work on it, but this game can be similar to GTA Online or Payday. Need new modes or reworked old modes, and it will be fun.
- BF1 - More gas and melee combat here. Also finish the Apocalypse DLC as it should be. This game is awesome for new players.
- BF5 - I think this game should be more tactical and similar to old BF games, which were before BF3. But fans know better.
After you need to add AI bots for default maps for all these games, so players can start to play without waiting, and all modes can be playable again. Later you can add a store for skins, customization, battle passes, loot boxes, and everything you want. Believe me, this is better than making a new live service game, which will be dead on the start, because everyone thought about money, not about gameplay. These games are already awesome. Just need to update them, add new content, and create some kind of event "Classic Reborn" or "Remaster Collection." And these games will be popular again. Call of Duty already showed it. And it's works.
If you do not want to take the easy way and want to waste a lot of money on nothing, then instead of making BF games again and again, try this:
- BF 6 - should be a classic BF game, which was before BF3.
- Medal of Honor 2 - Copy-paste of Call of Duty. You want it, right?
- Titanfall 3 - Future setting with robots, cyborgs, drones, etc.
So in every year there will be a new game in different settings, with different weapons and gameplay. And for kids can be a semi-Fortnite game "Battlefield Heroes".
Thanks.
