Account Banned from Answers HQ

Who determines global ban status?  I know of a CUSTOMER of EA that was globally banned by the decision of server administrators who determined he was cheating.  They were either unable to provide pro...

    Server administrators cannot globally ban anybody, only EA can globally ban somone for a vioaltion of the EA Terms of Service.  ToS violations can encompass many types of actions from cheating, boosting, in game conduct such as hate speech in the chat HUD, or conduct on any EA forum that violates the EA ToS. 

    The EA Answer HQ is a community run technical self help forum (ie Gamers helping Gamers), and as such cannot handle any account specific actions or bans. 

    If you believe your (or in this case your friend's) EA account and/or persona has been incorrectly suspended/banned and you would like to dispute this action, please contact support at accountdisputes @ ea.com from your registered email address.

    ***Note: If you were banned by Punkbuster or GGC-Stream, please know that EA Support cannot assist with unbanning your account. Learn more about disputing a ban with PunkBuster or GGC-Stream.

    In the Subject of your email, please write "Banned/Suspended Account - Game/Product Name - Persona Name".
    In the Body of your email, please include the following information:

    Your Information:
    First Name & Last Name:
    Game/Product Name:
    Persona Name:
    Banned or Suspended:
    Error/Notification Message received (if any):
    Details of your dispute:

    Each account and/or persona is reviewed on a case by case basis. Though we make every effort to address these inquiries in less than 24 hours, we ask that you please be patient as it may take some additional time to do a full investigation.

    Please note: The majority of banned or suspended accounts are only suspended temporarily. Find more information about the length of your suspension by checking the email address associated with your account.

    Do not PM Admins/Mods on the EA Forums/Answer HQ or request them as Friends to appeal your suspension.

    If you do, please note, abusive language, harassment, threats or the like will be forwarded to the TOS team for further action.

    Follow the steps above to appeal your suspension. Creation of additional accounts to circumvent this action WILL result in all accounts linked to you being reported for violation of the Terms of Service and could result in removal of entitlements/online access.

    Bannign for cheating I can understand,   but I always get banned from the forums for encouraging fair play. 

    Apparenlty EA would rather support players that claim exploiting glitches and bugs are not cheating and that there is nothing wrong with team stacking or having numerous accounts on ranked servers.

    I'm always saying what RIOT did with LoL is the model for all online multiplayers....  and I get flamed for it.

    My latest post was in a thread where the number 1 ranked player in bf3 was getting called a cheater by numerous posters,   and claims he cannot be cheating if he has been allowed to play for 12 years....

    So I made a single post saying Lance Armstrong use to say the same exact things.......and then a thread encouraging people to watch the new Lance Armstrong documentary on cable,   and stated the video game industry is 1000 times worse.

    I never name and shame or use foul language.   But  in these video games,  its usually a small clique of dishonest players that control everything...  EA seems just as corrupted as Sony.

      RichAC this forum as a public community run forum cannot and does not handle bans or appeals so I am afraid that we cannot service any grievances that you may have regarding how EA handles bans.
