After I click a key on keyboard game closes

After i launch the battlefield 3 game from the origin launcher and click a button on my keyboard. The game automaticly closes. i can however move my mouse but cant press any buttons. this is very frustrating anyone knows how to cope with this problem?

  • Went ahead disabling Discord and Nvidia Experience overlays, and ran CCleaner for the heck of it. Everything seems to work now.

    Thanks.

BF3 won't launch from Origin, you must use Battlelog to launch both the single player campaign and the multiplayer mode. Once you choose which you wish to play in Battlelog the website will launch BF3.

  • I, too, am having the same issue the OP is having.  After joining a server through Battlelog, the game loads up and I'm in the deployment screen.  I can use my mouse to hover and click on things, but the instant I press any keyboard key the game closes.  Battlelog still displays that BF3 is running and trying to close despite BF3 not even being in the Task Manager anymore.

Hey @A11ectis, it sounds like its an overlay is being clicked on and you get tabbed out from the game.

    Try these steps:

Make sure that all drivers for windows and your gpu drivers are up to date.

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Battlefield V and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

Try running a CCleaner to remove old temp files and cache.

Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂
