@MidnightProfitt
While I understand it may have worked for some others unfortunately that isn't always the case.
To clarify a little bit:
Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc and so any time a platform is unlinked, it loses that progress which would be why your progress no longer appears.
While that progress can sometimes be restored by re-linking the platform to the same EA Account in some cases, that's not always possible. This is mentioned in the warning that must be accepted before any unlink is possible, but you can also read through this page for those details ,this is the same link as the one I provided above.
From the sounds of things you've re-linked your EA account to the platform it was originally linked to, but I'm afraid if that didn't result in the progress being restored, that would be permanently lost and not something we have any ability to manually correct sadly.
I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for and I'm sorry we can't help further.
Well that's an absolute shame and completely disheartening to hear.
It's unbelievable that something like this can happen when it technically shouldn't even be the case.
I've now lost thousands of hours of progress all because of a fault in this system which is insane to me. I would've thought that I could unlink and re-link my account with no issues, but unfortunately, something as simple as that can never be so easy.
I hope you're able to help push this issue to the higher ups at EA if possible because it is completely unfair to millions of gamers out there to have a feature within the EA system that could involuntarily reset people's progress. I may not be able to ever get my progress back, but this shouldn't be an issue that others should have to go through, so I hope that this issue gets brought up within EA so that others won't run into this problem in the future.
