(Answer question) Mental API problem making the game stop working.

Mantle probably isnt working because it was never fully developed, it was always in beta mode, and has since been abandoned by AMD (they are no longer providing updates for it).  If DX 11 works for you, then use it.

so in these case the Mental is now Offline in Battlefiled 4 for everyone???

If Mental is now Offline will Vulkan API take place instead Mental?

For future games Vulcan might be used, or DX12 or something else, we will all know more about that when it's announced. BF4 is over 2 years old now, you should not expect any new graphics API's being supported.

Mental was really a good API for me as I'm using a 144Hz display. but I guess it's all over unstill Vulcan APi comes on BF1 :D

For your Mantle issue try deleting the Mantle cache file located at:

C:\Users\<your pc>\Documents\Battlefield 4\cache 

Also make sure Origin and the game is started as administrator.

I have now tried and one thing that semse to work like 70% other 20%game stop responing or stop working.

1, make Administration on BF4 and Origin.

2. Regedit change the word Battlefiled 4 TM to just Battlefield 4.

3. delete cache where Mental is being operative

    C:/User/documents/battlefield 4/cache

4. get in to the game settings change the Fullscreen from 1 to 0. while you at it change OverallGraphicsQuality to 3 or 4.

5. luanch the game and you will get more chance of getting inside the game starting Mental API.

if it stop working delete Cache file again and try one more
