Asian Servers high ping.

Question

Hi guyz, about 5-6 hours ago i was playing with my friend on an asian server located in singapore and i was having normal ping. Suddenly my ping jumped up to 300. I waited and thought maybe it would go down but it didnt and my friend was also getting 280 ping. We share the same ISP. My ping for european servers is normal but im getting very high ping on asian servers. So could it be that my ISP is having problems or is there a problem with EA's asian servers?

I have the same issue! I live in Maldives which is in the Indian Ocean Islands! According to the speed test I do i have a great ping of 5 ms! I have 4&nbsp;mbps download and 0.8 mbps upload!

But when I try the battlefield servers, the lowest ones are above 240 and increases to 600 and more! I get banned for having high ping! I also wonder if this is due to a problem from the batttlefield hosting or from the ISP side!

Hope any one can come up with a solution or a reasonable explanation for this!
